72V/40Ah Lithium-ion Power Pack
The Talaria MX5 is powered by a 72V/40Ah lithium-ion power pack, boasting an impressive 2,880 watt-hours of energy. It’s the most powerful battery in the Talaria range and maximizes the MX5 Pro’s range, acceleration and top speed.
Featuring cutting-edge lithium-ion cells, an advanced battery management system (BMS), and a meticulously engineered internal structure, this power pack guarantees exceptional performance and range for all your off-road adventures. It can also be easily swapped for virtually unlimited range with a fully charged spare.
13400W Mid-mounted Motor
The Sting MX5 features a bespoke powertrain design that’s perfectly tailored for a lightweight electric MX bike. At its heart is a high-efficiency, brushless internal permanent magnet (IPM) motor, utilizing premium magnet materials and cutting-edge engineering. Coupled with precision-crafted gears, the gearbox operates with unparalleled quietness and durability, far surpassing traditional belt drive systems. High Precision Controller
The Sting MX5 controller is a masterpiece of engineering, combining top-tier hardware, exceptional design and sophisticated programming. With high-precision EABS voltage and discharge current control, comprehensive error detection and robust protection against extreme temperatures, the controller ensures peak reliability. Hydraulic Disc Brakes
An enhanced MX-style braking system sets a new standard for performance and safety. This upgraded system includes a robust 220mm disc with 3mm thickness, delivering superior heat dissipation and stopping power. A larger, more efficient caliper and reinforced brake hose help the Talaria Sting Pro handle the rigors of intense off-road riding.
A redesigned master cylinder further amplifies braking response, ensuring precise control with every pull of the lever. Together, these advancements significantly boost braking power, offering riders unmatched confidence and control.
Suspension
The MX5 has its own Talaria Factory Suspension that was designed specifically for this bike. The standard suspension has been revised to take the increased power and weight. The Talaria factory rear shock is now stiffer with a 550-850 lbs/inch progressive spring which includes compression and rebound adjustments . The Talaria factory front fork is air-adjustable and includes an internal double-spring arrangement with compression, rebound, and preload adjustments.
Full Colored Display
This display is easy to read both day and night. The display is small but also fully featured. This small cool looking display really does it all. You have 3 levels of power (eco, sport and hyper) and 4 levels of regen. The interface and large tactile buttons make it a breeze to change modes while riding.
